Pumpkin Thyme Puree for Babies and Toddlers

This recipe is a delicious and nutritious puree that is perfect for babies and toddlers. The pumpkin is packed with vitamins and minerals, while the thyme adds a unique flavor and aroma.   • 1 cup of pumpkin, cooked and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon of thyme, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 pinch of salt (optional)


  1. Add the pumpkin, thyme, water, and salt (if using) to a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is heated through.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.

Tips to make this recipe perfect

  • If the puree is too thick, add more water to achieve the desired consistency.
  • To make the puree more flavorful, add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg.
  • If you’re pureeing for a baby under 12 months old, omit the salt.
